Terms & Conditions

1. The product is guaranteed free from any faulty materials and bad workmanship for twelve months domestic use from the date of purchase.
2. For any warranty enquiry, the customer should always contact Westwell by telephone or email in the first instance to ensure that returned products do not remain unattended.
3. All warranties will be void in any of the following circumstances:
   • a. Any unauthorised repair or modification has been carried out on the unit
   • b. If the unit has been damaged by misuse, negligence, accident, insect or natural disasters
   • c. If the unit has been installed, maintained or operated in any way other than in accordance with the instructions.
4. The customer should send the product’s Warranty Registration Card to Westwell within 14 days of purchase to ensure warranty registration.
5. The product’s original warranty certificate and purchase invoice must be presented if the product is returned to Westwell or one of its authorised resellers. A service fee will be charged if any of these documents cannot be produced.
6. If the product is deemed to be “dead on arrival” the customer may obtain a replacement unit within 14 days of purchase.
7. When returning a product, the customer must ensure it is returned via prepaid freight and is packaged properly to avoid damage. Products damaged in transit will have their warranty voided.
8. Goods returned under warranty will be repaired or replaced at Westwell’s discretion. Whilst Westwell will endeavour to return goods under warranty as soon as possible, turnaround times may vary. In some instances, at Westwell’s discretion, the product may be replaced out of current stock.
9. Westwell accepts no responsibility for any data loss or corruption during the repair process of any goods.
10. Goods returned with no fault found may attract a service fee of AUD$25 + 10% GST per item.
11. This warranty covers hardware only. It does not cover accessories such as connection cables, CDs, batteries, headphones, remote control units, software installation and user’s manual are excluded from the warranty.
12. Under no circumstances will Westwell be liable for any consequential damages caused in relation to the use of this product.
13. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser/end user and is not assignable/transferrable to any subsequent purchaser/end users.
14. This warranty service is applicable only to customers who purchased the product from Westwell or its authorised dealers in Australia and New Zealand.
15. Westwell reserves the right to amend the warranty terms and conditions without further notice.

What is a Serial No.?

A Serial Number is a unique number on every product you purchase, which allows that product to be identified. Serial Numbers are usually located on the packaging, the warranty card and the bottom or the back of the product.
